Its history is dated back to 1869 when in Luino, on the shore of Lago Maggiore –few miles from Switzerland– began the adventure that through the years led Ratti to be the reference point for the major producers of textile threads in Italy and worldwide, synonym of high reliability and performances in the field of textile machines for twisting artificial and synthetic continuous filament fibres and natural silk.

Ratti means machinery operating on five continents, in over seventy Countries, with a success being the result of the primary role always assigned to research and development, technology and quality.
With a deep attention and analysis of the market trends, this policy always resulted in granting innovative solutions to meet manufacturing and marketing needs, often anticipating the customers’ expectations.

That’s the background.
tFrom beginning of 2010, the firm renews with a new name in to “ Ratti Luino srl” and it picks up the challenge by continuing the production and the marketing of the textile machinery of this historical brand this historical brand.

Now as then, the priority of looking at the customer’s satisfaction first is the basis of our activity, continuing the mission of supplying the highest quality and service, in an international market scenery which is more and more focusing and demanding customized solutions.

This is made possible because Ratti Luino srl still enjoys and benefits not only of the high level know-how developed through the years, but also of skilled key-people in all the main departments.

Besides the R&D Division, equipped with sophisticated CAD-CAM systems and the workshop, a key role is also played by the Textile Research Laboratory, daily engaged in programs of product development and experimentation.

The Company’s complex is completed by an efficient Technical Assistance Division, a highly trained unit which assures a reliable and timely after sales support in every part of the world.
